    Unofficial Pirate Day

Pirate day is comin up, who knows why we decided to make it pirate day, lets blame a combo of POTC2 and boredness.

So all you wanna be pirates remember to dress up on the 7th July. Hopefully there should be a few wandering around jillies at the allnighter so go and join in, they are all semi tame at least, though granted I don't think anyone knows everyone whose invited :S

Pass the word on, lets fill the place with pirates
    Arrrrr

    Ebay, ya gotta love it...

So I was thinking, hmm wonder if anyone is selling a big brother golden ticket on ebay so decided to search...

Don't you just love ebayers who obviously don't read the item description.

    Second Best

Ever been second best? No? You sure?

Funny isn't it people make choices every day, and something/someone comes 'second best' every day. So are you sure you've never been second best? you might have been second best multiple times today even. Theres only one way to find out though, and that would be to ask everyone you know every day if they'd chosen something else over you. Second best is not something to worry over, yet if you pride yourself on being first I would personally dig deeper. The cover doesnt always match the bed. Learn to except your not always first or you'll never be happy. Second can be fun. Though yes I never admit that on Grand National day.

    ---

While i'm at it friday made an interesting 1st, hope peeps had fun, I hadn't been the gallery in ages so was defo nice to just kick back and chill, plus I'd never done an all nighter at Rockworld (well close to an all nighter to make it officail apparently we have to do the 9-7) was also cool to have a wonder round Manchester while it was empty and see new places. Thanks for the tour :)

Also next time Pirate is online will someone remind me to tell him Alex said hi? or if I'm not online pass the message on. (Alex and Ian, alex for reference, she said she'll email him when she isn't as busy with uni etc)

I also even managed to stay awake at cinema when I went the second time with Sarah, even though it was dark and comfy(ish) I love seeing friends you haven't spoke to in a while, I look forward to seeing her next time shes in the area, till then I may have to bully her into using the computer more, cause I'm the most unreliable person ever when it comes to reply to texts. (lets just take this as a universal sorry to everyone for me not replying, I get very easily side-tracked and have a crap memory so usually only remember to reply days later, so if you need an instant reply make sure you make that obvious in the text)

Hmm think I might blog more that way I can do the in depth thing instead of jumping around and confusing the hell out of you all.

    That's Death...

    There's a place you're always welcome,
It's as nice as it can be,
    Everyone can get in,
    'cos it's absolutely free..

    That's Death.
No need to take a rest,
    Just lie around all day,
With not a single bill to pay,
    Hooray...

    That's Death,
    No more sicknesses or flu..
If you've lived beyond your means,
You can die beyond them, too,
    Boo-hoo...

Well, the greatest and the finest,
    Mmm, have already died,
    Why not simply join them,
    On the other side?

    That's Death..
Say farewell to all your ills,
    Rip up all your bills,
    And pop your final pills,
    Amen..

    That's Death...
    It's a tete a tete with fate,
    If you're not feeling great,
Then it's the best way to lose weight,
    Mate...

    Nothing here to hurt you,
    No-one's here to nag,
    Come die with me,
    If your life's a drag...

    That's Death...
    Death, Death,
    The wealthy and well bred,
    All of them are here,
    And they're all completely dead,
    So dead,

    That's Death,
    Death, Death,
No more headaches, no more pain,
    Of the millions who've died,
    No-one came back to complain,
    Uh-huh..

You can't take it with you,
You can't keep what you've got,
So why not just lie back,
    And simply rot?

    Death, Death,
    Just simply rot,
    Death, Death,
    It's so cool, it's hot,
    Death, Death,
    And That's Death.

    Stupid Orange smoothies!

    Random madness...
So I got an orange smoothie on friday but didn't drink it all, i threw half of it in the bin in my room on top of dogs pen.
Well I've not been in my room since i went trafford centre this morning and I just went in my room when i got home from pub and found it empty lying on the footstool, which is weird as i dont put drinks on there incase they spill but shrugged it off and went to put it in bin.
When i found the bin, it was full of orange but no bottle so  I chucked bottle in and disgarded the bag by goin straight to kitchen walked back in room and there are drips of orange on dog pen, floor leading to bed, chair, stool and my mattress.
Now i can understand if bottle had been with clothes n junk n i've thrown it on bed n its split, thus bottle landing on stool etc, but there isnt a big puddle on mattress just flecks and i can understand bottle spilling in bag n bag dripping near dog bed; but eitherway doesnt explain how both things on both sides of room happened n how bottle ended up on opposite side of room to the contents.
Parents both say they havent been in room, and since they are both tidy freaks no way would they have sprinkled drink around the room and according to rents no1 has been to house 2day, it has just been me and them

    so... wtf has happened

lol, couldnt be akira because of ish on bed (had considered it bein her till that point)

    so, anyone any ideas?

Like I said random, but weird so would like suggestions on how this could have happened :S

Oh and me and Jay have now made it to over a week without killing each other woo(t) go us.

    vamp
You are Form 9, Vampire: The Undying. "And The Vampire was all that remained on
the blood drowned creation. She attempted to
regrow life from the dead. But as she was
about to give the breath of life, she was
consumed in the flame of The Phoenix and the
    cycle began again."
Some examples of the Vampire Form are Hades (Greek)
and Isis (Egyptian). The Vampire is associated with the concept of
death, the number 9, and the element of fire. Her sign is the eclipsed moon. As a member of Form 9, you are a very realistic
individual. You may be a little idealistic,
but you are very grounded and down to earth.
You realize that not everything lasts, but you
savor every minute of the good times. While
you may sometimes find yourself lonely, you
have strong ties with people that will never be
broken. Vampires are the best friends to have
    because they are sensible.

    About a Boy

I always associated this movie with Michael Jackson, how Will and Marcus had a relationship that wis misunderstood and Fiona when first learning of it assumed it was wrong just because it wasn't (for lack of a better word) normal.

However at 5am in the morning things seem to look different, and I feel my life keeps falling into similar situations.

    'No Man is an island'

I have fooled myself into thinking I was an exception, when really I was just unwilling to face the truth. I say I don't care what people think, and I am happy to do my own thing, but maybe I am fitting into a role other people have created for me.

I prefer to think I'm in control, it helps me to chill and to sleep at night, but for the first time in history something other then illness is keeping me awake against my choice.

I may appear indecisive, but am I really? what people don't seem to have realised is I'm just happy hanging out, I've made a decision to do that, the place is not an important factor as I have already made my decision, so really by letting them choose what we do, are they in control? no, they are just doing what is necessary to make them happy, I'm already there.

Back to the point however. Will and Marcus had no problem with the relationship, Fiona did, but this isn't a relationship involving Fiona so how could she jeopardise it? Granted she was Marcus's mother, but why do third persons always seem to mess up things that don't concern them.

I am thinking of 3 people that have messed in my friendships in the last year. Maybe I am unfairly blaming them, but what is it that makes people feel the need to control others. Is it human nature, do we do it on purpose, or is it subconsious. By acting 'indecisive' am I controlling another and forcing them to make decisions. Is it really my fault and instead of considering my actions am finding scape goats to blame, or are we all really controlled. If we are, who controls me? or do I just get controlled by 3rd parties?

Just because someone doesn't see a relationship as right, is it wrong?

I have more to say, but I don't want to wake up family with my typing, and prefer thoughts to be continoues with lil or no editing, so I doubt I'll continue this 2moro, and other then correcting speeling mistakes I choose not to edit it so sorry if it don't make sense, it is afterall 5am, and i've had no sleep.

    Brokeback Mountain

Continuing to log all my cinema trips I attended Brokeback Bountain with Snowy yesterday, IMO it was good, at first I thought it was a lil poor, but I totally got into it after first 15-20mins.

I can't believe some states have banned it, well actually I can as a lot of places are close-minded. Its a shame that the viewing public won't get access to the film though because others have decided what is or isn't suitable for their viewing.

    Anyway... go watch it!

    Certificates VS Akira: round 1

I love the whole consultation thing, I couldn't make it to presentation evening at college, so they kindly posted my certificates out. Personally I would have rather dropped in to collect them but they probably thought they were doing me a favour.
Anyway, I told my parents to watch the dog as I had important stuff coming through the mail, did they? no.
The envelope might say do not bend but it forgot to add do not bite. My faithful well trained obedient dog has happily punctured my new certificates and now I need replacements, so here I am happily searching online to find out how to go about doing this. Has anyone done this before, and thus has the email addys I need? I suppose the best part of it is that the new certificates will of course be arriving by post.
I find it funny how anything important my parents get through post (checks etc) they always keep the dog away from, yet this week she has destroyed my certificates and my card
Oh well, at least while I'm writing asking for replacements I can finally get my GCSE certificates as I never actually bothered to obtain them in the first place, they were to far away from where I went college and I could only pick them up in college hours so never had time to get them.

    Sign my wall!

So I've been wandering round spaces by linking to friends, friends of friends etc (can you tell I'm bored?) and tripped across this site. 'piclibs' anywho I've created a wall for y'all to graffiti and its looking boringly blank at the moment, so help me out and graffiti to your hearts content, after all it would just be sad if I graffitied(sp?) my own wall.

    Cinema

I promise this isn't just a 'filler' blog. Though I am trying to update without actually having news so I suppose it really is one.

Anyway, I just wanna keep rack of how many times I go cinema this year, so since I always lose ticket stubs I'm gonna blog my trips so I can read back at end of year.

So on 1st I say 'Just Like Heaven', was good. I'm a Reece fan though so maybe thats one of the reasons I liked it.

Also went to see 'Just Friends' last night, with Jay, Scott, Em, Andy, Rach, Syd n Lou, was nice as was last chance to hang out with Lou before she disappears back to uni, though didn't see her much anyway as you can't exactly talk in a film lol.

Anyway, now I'm gonna go try and think of something interesting to do, so my next blog actually has a good point that will give me a reason to blog.

    Thriller Musical

OK, I admit, I'm an MJ freak, but I can't help it.

So I have a proposition for you all. You know how I'd like to disappear of to London at somepoint. Well who fancies a group of us going down for the weekend in August, theres a Michael Jackson musical on the 27th over 100 performers, dancers singers etc (you can read about it at www.mjmusical.com )

Anyway, I was thinkg maybe some of you wouldn't mind giving up a few hours of your life, if it meant getting to hang out/shop etc in London for a whole weekend. Its just a thought I'm throwing out to you all at moment, so don't have any defo plans or prices, but if your interested let me know. I promise that only that bit would be dedicated to MJ, the rest of the time we could do whatever the majority wanted.

    Paypal

Don't you hate it when you check your bank account and find you have less money then previously thought?

Due to this I will be waiting till payday to buy dvds, grr suppose I shouldn't have bought so much DS stuff. Talking of which, my wifi still doesn't work  apparently, on checking www.nintendowifi.com it doesn't like my router, so that is yet to be sorted. Anyway, before this was discovered I had been on wifi connector shopping sprees and had found a wifi max at gameseek, hopefully it should work when I find a router nintendo likes.

However as paypal is so kind they decided to charge me twice for this transaction, they tried to pass it off as my mistake and that I'd paid gameseek twice which was a lie, but they have since refunded me, not just into my paypal account but into my bank account. So this brings me to the point finally, after talking to a friend, this has also happened to him, and since its christmas and everyone reading this will be internet geeks, you might have used paypal recently also, so check your bank statements for any double withdrawls from paypal. Afterall we're all poor enough this time of year without them stealing money also.

    Year Summary

Ok, so I've been promising a year summary, but unfortunatley I won't be doing a full write up or be including some of the best bits (and worst bits) for various reasons. Basically because there are some things that shouldn't be shared in public without both involved parties consent, and though a few don't believe it I can be trusted to keep quiet (me quiet, weird I know)

    ----

    2005

So, wow I finally turned 18, I doubt the number changed me much, but this year certainly has, as quite a few of you will probably agree. I finished college, and have since been taking time to find myself.

I've made a lot of new friends along the years, some who I hope to have friendships with for a long time to come, and I have been lucky enough to only loose the odd 1 or 2 friendships due to misunderstandings, but then again, if they were that easily broken they weren't worth having to begin with.

I have probably attended more parties this year, then I've ever done before. Thanks to a lot of 18ths and the pirate, not to mention random other house parties.

I've been to a gathering for the first time, I've then gone on to prod the pirate in the direction of more gatherings with the help of a few accomplices. I have been on random weekends to Leicester, and stayed over at way too many houses, often as a loop hole to not being in before dark. It was probably this that got me the homewrecker status, but meh.

I broke a few personal records, not all of them are here for above mentioned reasons, but...

I managed to stay awake for 52hrs straight.
I stayed in 4 beds in 1 week.
I had 2 different all nighters consecutively at different houses
I had my nose licked by 4 different people in the space of 12hours
I spent approx of 11hours straight in pub (well 2 pubs one after the other)
I listened to over 8hours of Michael Jackson's Number Ones album in a row (more then once)
I stayed on the phone more then 5hours straight talking about nothing to someone, just because we wanted to.

What I learnt to do (tho no1 says I'm actually good at the following, and in some cases I may have now forgotten)...

    To use a Diabolo
    To use Poi
    To use Flowerstixs
    To Contact Juggle
    To play Magic the gathering
    To create animated gifs
    To make scoobies
    To Face paint
    To Knit
To fly a Kite (kind of lol)
To untie a Knot with my teeth (don't ask, it ain't as bad as it sounds)
To catch a Train and end up at desired loacation (most of the time) :D

I have survived a whole year at Hobbycraft, where I have seen people come and go, and in some cases come and back again. I also became a mod at www.mjjforum.com where alot of my online time is dedicated, it was after all thanks to that place that I remained sane through the MJ trial.

I attended discover dogs for the 1st time as an exhibitor along with my not so faithful companion Akira and we hope to return there again someday.

I also broke some rules about who I hang out with (pft 1st years ) and with the help of a friend gained some criteria for future people who I will hang out with. Granted I've only met one person who matched all criteria, and he wasn't exactly the kind of person I should be looking for, but hopefully I'll find someone else who matches it and is actually worth my time.

    New years resolutions...

to be nice (pft that is almost out of the window already), to swap my status (may happen I guess will have to see as year progresses), to not hold back (so for all those of you who feel like being bitchy, becareful what you say, you may find out stuff you didnt want to )

grr, just realised to of them resolutions may clash. Well I suppose not holding back and telling the truth, IS being nice in a twisted sort of way, I mean we all want the truth, right?

    ---

So I know thats kind of sketchy, but I really wanted to post it before the end of today, and go back to a normal style of blogging (thats if I remember to actually blog). Anyway, sorry it isn't better written (still looking for a ghost writer) and sorry it wasn't more interesting, but there it is. 2005 paws style.

    Wow...

Seems so long since I last updated...

    OK, got one...

So, what happens when a bored person has money? in my case said bored person usually wastes it :) 'How?' I hear you ask. The answer, in the randomest way the person can think of, with random friends

    *Enters Em*

Em being the typical uni student loves finding a way to do nothing instead of something. For example people think Uni students go lectures, right? WRONG. They infact turn upto book signings of authors they have never read. Meh sounds like a way to kill an hour, right? WRONG To me and Em its a way to kill a day.

EXT: Liverpool - City Centre: Morning

Emma, Scott, Laura and Paws congregate in WHSmith and stand patiently (yeah right, more like stay in almost one place while hitting each other and sending Scott on errands) while waiting to meet Terry Pratchett (author of many books, most notably the Discworld series) One they have collected his autograph in various books and one M(word). They head of in search of food. (YUM food), unfortunatley due to getting said food they miss Jamie Olivers booksigning :( (sorry Jamie, we'll catch ya next time.)

Heres the part where Laura goes to Uni and Em SHOULD go to uni, but meh cow searches are so much more fun. (cow searches????) So Paws and Em get to thinking, hey why don't we go to Terry Pratchetts next signing, sure we can't make it to Jamie Olivers signing, but we still have time to make it to Jamies. However as everyone knows going 2 signings from the same person in one day is stupid, unless of course you bring presents. So instead of being a good little student the day was spent 'cow searching' (ie finding any random cow shaped present for Terry) after the cow search was complete (when we'd searched MANY places and luckly found a cow bookmark and a cow pen). The decision was made that Em needed to take something more then a boring book to the signing, after all I had taken the M(word). Over hearing our convo, the local Quiggins t-shirt store offered their services and rushed to our aid (after all we we're on a schedule!) with a 'Binky' hoodie for Em. (now I could go into detail but this is the short version of our day and its already how long)

So of we trotted to a 2nd booksigning this time at Waterstones, Manchester. I have to say the people in this que where far more fun as we spent 2 hours randomly chatting to other fans (while Em tried to not let on that she had never read a single book of this man we appeared to be stalking). Lets just say after a lot of signed goods, Terry finally saw the back of us, as I can't be bothered writing more.

I will note however that I have now broken a nail and due to our trip out, I have no money to go to the nail technician to get it fixed till the 28th! Oh well...

    The Results are in...

The Walkman Phone results are in, after a search to find the top 100 songs of all time, as voted for by the public, a staggering 18 Michael Jackson songs where listed (the highest amount for any artist).

Each phone will come with the following MJ tracks already on the player...

Billie Jean (number 3 in the poll)
Thriller (number 19 in the poll)
Beat It (number 24 in the poll)
We've Had Enough (number 41 in the poll)

However, when looking at British voters only the list read a completely different way as Michael Jackson made it into the top 10 not only once, but seven times.

    The LONG Scientific Personality Test...

    ENFP - The Champion
    You scored 81% I to E, 31% N to S, 47% F to T, and 78% J to P!
Your type is known as the Champion type, which is part of the larger group called idealists. Nothing occurs that does not have some deep and ethical significance in your eyes. You see life as an exciting drama. You are very charismatic, yet tend to be too harsh on yourself for not being as genuine as you think you should be. 3% of the population shares your type.
As a romantic partner, you need to talk about what is going on in your life. You are a strong supporter for your partner's efforts to grow and change and be happy. You need to feel that same support from your partner. Expressive, optimistic, and curious, you are eager to enjoy new experiences with your partner, whom you wish to be your confidant and soul mate, as well as play mate. You are uncomfortable sharing negative emotion, though, and tend to withdraw from confrontation and process your feelings privately. You feel most loved when your partner appreciates your creativity, accepts your uniqueness, and sees you as the compassionate person you are. You need to hear your partner tell you how much you mean to them and would love if they did thoughtful spontaneous things to demonstrate it.
    Your group summary: idealists (NF)
